I know it's kinda old, but I just watched the full "Trapped in the Closet" movie/rap musical/video/whatever and it is just so.damn.funny. I'd only seen like the first four parts and a bunch of parodies before, but never the full 22 chapters, so I just decided to give it a look today.

It's really funny you guys, check it out if you've never seen it.

There are 22 chapters in total, so I'll just point out this first one right here and you can continue after the jump if you want. It starts out not so funny, but it gets better later, especially towards chapter 9 and on.

Elaboring more on my previous post, I did a search for some of the kinds of stuff I think a salon specializing in unusual looks would know how to do.

See? This is the kind of stuff I want to be able to walk into a salon and be like "Do this." and the employee would be confident enough to pull it off because they're daring enough to try it out and listen to you along the way without trying to get you to stick to "something more natural" or whatever. I want to see some crazy shit! Of course they could do natural-type stuff if someone wanted to, but you can get that anywhere. I want to see a salon that is geared towards the artistic, expressive type of person who wants a job done professionally. I know this is probably not a big market in America, but who knows? I bet all types of people would still want to go to a salon like this, especially for people who want to try out new looks but aren't confident in their skills.

Am I the only one who would run over immediately to a salon that specialized in this kind of stuff? I want a salon like this to exist so bad!!

Why is it so hard to find a hair salon that specializes in bright, punky hair colors?


Don't get me wrong, I love the salon I currently go to, but it just irritates me that I can't find any place that specializes in unusual hair colors and hair styles.

Really, I was looking it up because my hairstylist was telling me about how she saw more colors from Creative Image Adore at a local beauty supply store different from the one she told me about back when I wanted to dye my hair pink. I told her I wanted to dye my hair blue, (like a bright almost neon blue) and she said that Adore has a blue. Now, if it's the same indigo blue I keep seeing online, then it's too dark. I believe I even talked to her about how I saw a dark blue and I didn't want it. I don't want a deep blue hair color. I want it to be super bright like my pink is. I even brought in pictures of people with bright blue hair as an example for her so she'll know exactly what I'm talking about, but I'm afraid she's going to buy that deep blue and just think that that's good enough, when deep down I know it's not what I want at all, thus making me end up postponing dying my hair blue.

I've told her about Manic Panic and Special Effects before, but she doesn't want to use them because:

A.) I'm pretty much the only one in the salon who uses funky colors, so she doesn't know all that much about which products are good/bad.
B.) She doesn't want to use something that's not semi-permanent in case I want to go back to a more natural color. Semi-permanent rinses like Adore are easy to bleach out without damaging my hair. Especially since I'll be going back to pink 6 months later.

But the thing is, I know I'm going to have blue hair until May 2010, when I'll switch back over to pink and hopefully on a more permanent brand, like Special FX or Manic Panic. I don't want to dye my hair on my own at home because I know I'll fuck up and it won't look as pretty as it does when I go to the salon.

I've also talked about doing more crazy things like pink hair with blue highlights or whatever, but she doesn't think it'll be a good idea because it'll bleed together and be harder to deal with when the roots come in. I trust her word on everything relating to hair, but I don't know how much I trust that it'll bleed if we used a brand that wasn't a rinse. This is why I was just curious to see if there were any salons out there that encouraged wild hair, but I see there are little to none.

If it were up to me, I would have a salon chain that specializes in creative hair colors and styles, unusual makeup, and unusual manicures/pedicures. I don't know about anyone else, but I know that I think it would be awesome to go to a salon knowing that everyone there is creative and likes to work with people willing to take some fasion risks. A nice salon where you can get some kickass hair cuts and hair syles along with crazy fake nails and green eyelashes or something. You know, a place not only located in california for all of us daredevils out there.

I'm going to ask a friend of mine to draw Edward but as a dragon. But my friend hasn't read FMA (she's more into shojo manga..) so I have to describe Edward's character. And this got me thinking... even though he is the main character, he is rather.. hard to read.

Due to the things that is happening, with Ed and ... at least Al's armour!body... as one of "the dead sacrifices".. I don't picture any EdWinness soon... But we all knew that after the EdWin renunion that it will be a while before we can go fangirlcrazy.. I hope we get to see Winry soon, I mean, we have seen almost all the characters give their own two cents about all that is happening... where in the world are you, Winry? I'm sure that we will see a kick-ass Winry when we see her though, she has became so grown-up lately <3 But I wouldn't mind some Winry-worrying-about-Ed-moment again... What do you think?
